News

The upcoming events on May 16 - 17 at Aynor SC will be here soon; start getting your bikes ready! The event is during Myrtle Beach bike week so a good spectator turn-out is expected, and Lib Barnhill is promoting the event heavily. Here's a link to their race flyer. Note that they are offering an open pro support class -- let your friends who ride open pro know about it.

Atlanta Motorcycle Club is hosting short track & TT racing at Aonia Pass the Saturday after Anyor (May 24). Beno says the track is in great shape. Here's a copy of their poster. The MX, PVMX, and Cross Country events have been re-established as AHRMA Southeast region events, so throw a motocrosser in the truck & enjoy a full day of racing.

GERA has rescheduled the cancelled Thunder Valley event to June 7. Lets support GERA with a good turnout! AHRMA classes will run as support classes to their AMA program.

Also note the added Sunday TT in Baker FL on November 2 (round 16).

2008 Schedule and Results

Qualification rules are the same as last year. To qualify for the 2008 Southeast Series, you must ride in at least two non-National Southeast DT races, and you must ride on two different days.

Aonia Pass MX Park is located on US Highway 78 five miles south of Washington GA and 15 miles north of I-20 Exit 172 (the Thomson exit). After entering the park gate, turn left onto the first gravel road on your left and go 1/4 mile to the dirt track parking / pit area.
